Ring size is a practical measurement, not a perfect-fit promise. Measure the finger where the ring will sit, repeat the check and use the method that matches what you already have.

Form the measuring strip into a loop, slide it over the finger and adjust it until it feels secure without pinching. It should still pass over the knuckle. Read the UK size at the marker and repeat the check at another time of day.

Option 2 — Measure a ring that already fits

1. Choose a ring worn comfortably on the same finger.
2. Measure the inside diameter across the widest point, without including the metal edge.
3. Compare the millimetre measurement with our conversion chart.

A small measurement difference can change the result, so take the reading more than once.

Option 3 — Compare regional sizes
