Option 2 — Measure an Existing Ring
If you already own a comfortable ring for that finger, you can measure it and match the size:
- Place the ring on a flat ruler and measure the inside diameter (edge to edge, across the centre).
- Note the measurement in millimetres (mm). Typical results range from about 15.5 mm to 20.5 mm.
- Match the diameter to a size using our conversion chart (UK/US/EU, Diameter, and Circumference).
Tip: Take two measurements and use the average. If you’re between sizes, we generally suggest sizing up for comfort—especially on wider bands.
Option 3 — Use Our Ring Size Conversion Chart
Prefer a quick look-up? Use our comprehensive chart to translate between UK and US sizes, or to convert from diameter/circumference to a ring size:

The chart presents a clear grid of sizes (UK & US) alongside precise inner diameter and circumference measurements. It’s ideal if you have a caliper or ruler, or if you’re converting a size from another region.
Option 4 — Get Personal Help
Not sure which option to choose? We’re happy to help you find the right fit—especially for wider bands, stacking sets, or gifts.
- Share a measurement or a known size in any system (UK/US/Diameter/Circumference)
- Tell us the style you’re considering (thin band, statement ring, stack)
- We’ll recommend the best size and fit notes
Four Quick Tips for Accurate Sizing
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are typically a touch larger in the evening.
- Consider temperature. Cold can shrink, warmth can swell—measure at a comfortable room temperature.
- Mind the knuckle. If your knuckle is prominent, size for the knuckle and choose a comfort-fit band where possible.
- Between sizes? Size up a half step for wider bands or a snug fit preference.
FAQs
What if I’m between two sizes?
For slim bands, your usual size is best. For wider bands or if you like a looser feel, go up half a size. When unsure, the reusable ruler or our conversion chart will help you decide with confidence.
Are sizes the same across all styles?
Widths and profiles can change how a ring feels. Wider bands feel tighter; comfort-fit interiors can feel easier to slide on. If you’re choosing a wider style, consider sizing up.
